I entered the industry in 1966, starting my career with the Lincoln City Fire Brigade, which later merged into Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue in 1974.
After this merger, I dedicated myself to the field until my retirement in 1998, gaining extensive experience in various aspects of commercial fire safety inspections and training.
Following my retirement, I established a Fire Safety Training Consultancy Service as a self-employed professional. I achieved significant success by securing contracts with esteemed organizations such as the NHS Trust, Local Authorities, and various private nursing and residential care facilities, as well as businesses across different sectors.
